Administrator / Dental Receptionist
Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. Duties
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
- Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
- Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries effectively.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the day.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organised reception area.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the practice.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or office role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using office software and dental practice management systems is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
